Make Visual Studio 2008 Run Faster

leave a comment »

Visual Studio 2008 has nice enhancements over past version but it runs terribly slow especially on machines with not so great configurations.

However, Microsoft has taken some steps and released a Hotfix to resolve some inherent bugs which was indeed causing slow performance at certain areas.

Another small trick you can do is to turn off Auto-Recover option (I have seen visible performance difference after doing this).
